Sofiane is the son of a former Algerian diplomat who has spent his life living abroad. Now a student in Lyon, he becomes a victim of an administrative decision and faces the threat of deportation. Hoping to regularize his situation, he decides to temporarily work for Islamic funeral directors. Lost in his identity, uncomfortable in his own skin, being with the dead will turn out to be a clear path for him.
