Moussa Sène began his career as an actor. His first film, *Le Prix du mensonge* (The Price of Lies), earned him the Silver Tanit at the Carthage Film Festival. He won several international awards with his films *Ça Twiste À Poponguine* and *Tableau Ferraille*. He was also the producer of the comedy series *Goorgorlu* on Senegal Television (2002). Moussa has made at least ten Senegal-related documentaries, and he is the songwriter or co-songwriter for all his films.
