Algerian director, screenwriter. Born in October 1953 in the wilaya of Béjaïa in Amadane, a small village in the commune of Oued Ghir, Abdallah Aggoune is the youngest of a family of four brothers and a sister, whose father Ahmed fell to the field of honor during the war of national liberation. In Amadane, the Aggoune formed a whole tribe.
Wanting to explore new horizons, he began a new chapter in his life by going to Tunisia in 2014, where he joined ESAD to study filmmaking. He notably produced “Le Silencieux”, which gave him international recognition, through several recognized festivals.
