Program MFF 2018

A large number of directors, actors and actresses were present at the festival to present their films and discuss them with the public, organized by Dutch and non-Dutch filmmakers, journalists or film experts.

Many filmmakers of Maghrebin origin residing in the Benelux and various representatives of other film festivals in the Netherlands were invited.

Children and young people in Haarlem have also become familiar with Maghreb films, thanks to an educational program set up for certain primary schools with appropriate films such as “The Domino Player” by Hakim Traidia, “Prénom Mohamed” by Malika Zairi “Allouche” by Lotfi Omar but also screenings at In Holland High School for students.

The festival ended with a ceremony and was followed by the award ceremony.
